Steve suggests that Anna interview Dan about Kuwait. Maggie learns from Detective Cadman that her neighbor Mrs. Nostrand reported seeing a young man enter the Powers home and exit about half an hour later. Carolee tells Emma that Dan has returned and is invited to dinner. Steve cautions Carolee that she can't keep Dan in limbo the way she has Steve. Dan stuns Carolee with the news that he wants to remain in Kuwait, but he told his superiors that he needs two weeks to get married. A semiconscious Julie says the word "dark" as Steve listens.
