A possible motive comes from his last cast, protective custody for small dealer Karl and 'ex'-junkie Gerda Maschke's doting angelic pre-teen son Philipp and teen rebel daughter Ella. Viktor was suspiciously wealthy, according to Karl blackmailing for drugs, but also had debts with night club owner and bookie Hermann Bolt, who denies only illegal prostitution.
