Irene asks Ann to lunch. Mady goes to see Paul and runs into ...See moreWalter is working and Ann is cleaning the house. Walter asks Ann what all a housewife does. Ann gives Walter the rundown and how long it takes. The phone rings and it is Irene. Irene asks Ann to lunch. Mady goes to see Paul and runs into Mrs. Gubbins. Mrs. Gubbins lets Mady know that Paul is nowhere to be found and is late with the rent. At lunch, Irene offers Ann two jobs at Halsteads. One of the jobs is to be in charge of the window decorating and the other is to be in charge of fashion shows. As much as Ann would like to take the jobs, she declines. Irene is shocked and tells Irene she promised Walter that she would be a housewife. Mady calls Liz to see if she has seen Paul and Liz has not. When Ann arrives home, tells Walter about Irene's offer and that she has declined them, which surprises Walter. Liz calls Ann to see if she has heard from Paul. Written by Sudsluva See less
