Dan talks with Dr. Ken Martin about wanting to get away. Ken suggests a tropical vacation that he and his wife, Cynthia recently went on. Dan tells Ken about the two thousand dollars he has stashed for such an occasion. Susan meets with Lena at the park. Lena tells Susan about Roy. Susan begins to understand that the money is for Roy and not Jerry. When Susan hears that the amount has been raised she is furious. Lena tells Susan that she is making a grave mistake by not complying. When Lena goes back to the motel and tells Roy what happens he gets rough with her and tells Lena that he is taking over from here on in with Susan Garret.
