Once Paul is finished with his set, he goes over to Matt. Matt tells him that Irene was behind his job at Empire and that Liz was in on it from the beginning. Paul has a change of heart and tells Matt to get ahead in this world it is who you know. Matt is quite shocked at Paul's attitude. Once Matt leaves Paul calls Irene to see if she has any information on Dmitri Kilarin. Irene is delighted to hear from Paul and tells him she has talked about him with Dmitri. Once Irene gets off the phone we see she is chatting with Dmitri. Irene calls Ann to see if she and Walter can make the party with Dmitri on Saturday night. Ann says she will have to see if Walter is up to kit. Irene stresses if Walter does not want to come can she. Ann discusses the party with Walter and Walter has no interest. Ann asks if he would mind her going by herself and Walter says fine. Things are still prickly with Matt and Liz.
