They discuss the headline in the paper about the Swain case. Once again Susan and Dan are at odds how the mother was treated. At the Reynolds, Ann is hungover and in a bad mood. Ann does finally tell Walter about hearing from Jill and that her mother is not doing well. Dan visits with Dr. Alma and tells her his concerns about Susan. While posing for Walter, Carol and he get to know each other better and discuss the meaning of love. Ann talks more about the situation with her mother.
