Kyle contemplates suicide because Emma rejects his advances and nobody else in his college pays attention to him. He sadly rants about not being special in the car after he gets shocked from the car battery. Later, he discovers that he has developed an extraordinary ability - he can immobilize anyone just by saying the word "Stop" to them. As soon as he discovers his ability, he plays around with it in his room and later freezes James, Emma's boyfriend, to show Emma his true colours. Throughout the short he takes advantage of his power and makes James look bad through the process. Thereafter, Kyle goes to his house and uses his power on his father while on the way to his room because his father (Jim) continuously doubts his motivation. In his room, Kyle reflects on what has happened and receives a call from Emma. Kyle, in shock, answers the phone and Emma asks him if he wants to meet up with her that day. He gets up in excitement and states that all the shitty things that are going to happen will just stop. Kyle stops in motion. The room is silent until a mirror in revealed and his reflection is shown, Kyle immobilised himself. Jim finds him like that in his room, with a victorious smile frozen on his face. Jim tries to explain why he's been tough on him but Kyle does not react. Jim tries to bring Kyle back to reality but nothing happens. Jim shouts out Kyle one last time. The last shot is of Kyle, with a cheeky smile on his face and the screen fades to black. Written by
