He leaves his fond parents and goes in search of adventure and other species of trouble in disguise. One night, amid a terrible storm, his ship strikes a rock and Bill manages to save himself and reach an island. Before he is rescued from this island, he manages to fall in love with Princess Ohyoukiddo, a lady with a weakness for glass beads and a cannibal by profession. Bill persuades the royal personage to accompany him to his home in Flatbush and become his better fifty per cent. He then advises his parents that he will soon arrive with his intended. His parents are overjoyed at the prospect of seeing their "Little Willie" settle down, but they change their mind when he arrives with a parrot, who speaks excellent English and possesses a large vocabulary, a monkey, possessed of an insatiable thirst for knowledge, and a wife, with cannibalistic tendencies. Then the sport commenced and things reach a climax on the wedding day. Bill is finally prevailed upon to sell his intended to a traveling showman instead of marrying her. Written by
