When her mother Lucy discovers that the three-year old Elha can sing, Lucy encourages her further by letting Elha sing in their karaoke machine. Digna, Lucy's employer for more than 20 years whom Lucy considers her older sister, starts training Elha so she can improve her singing. Elha enthusiastically listens to everything her aunt Digna teaches her from proper breathing to reaching high notes. At 6, Elha starts joining auditions for several reality talent competitions on TV but fails to make it past the first level of auditions. When Elha starts school, her singing talent is discovered and she starts joining vocal solo competitions for elementary students. Winning for the first time inspires Elha to dream of becoming a professional singer. Aside from Digna and Lucy's support, Elha is also inspired by her father Obet's dream to see his daughter singing on TV. The father and daughter bond by singing their favorite songs and watching their favorite artist on "The Voice Kids." However, Elha's dream is put on hold with the sudden death of her father. Being the eldest daughter, Elha thinks of ways to help her mother with their finances and starts selling banana cue on the streets of Kamuning. But Elha does not turn her back on singing as she now sings for her banana cue customers. One fateful day, Elha meets voice coaches Ryan and Edison who are impressed with her one-of-a-kind singing talent and offer her free training in their studio. Elha rediscovers her voice and regains her passion for pursuing her dream of becoming a singer. Amid her grief over her father's unexpected passing, Elha joins the audition for the second season of "The Voice Kids" with renewed confidence and a newfound inspiration. Despite not being the show's early favorite and strongest contender, Elha proves that hard work and persistence along with her innate love for singing are the most important values that help her achieve her dream as she is declared the grand winner of "The Voice Kids Season 2."
