After he shows them some footage from his cell phone that he took of the lady going off on the doorman, they realize that the crazy lady is Jenna's mother, Monica. Jenna was not expecting a visit from her mother, and is hoping it will be short and not include any unnecessary drama, but Monica has other plans. She drops a bombshell on Jenna when she tells her that she's dying. Jenna is understandably upset and caught off-guard. When she probes for more information, and seeks advice from her father, Albert, Jenna finds out that her mother is merely going through menopause, and that was her overdramatic way of describing it. Kelly and Tara have met Monica before, and have no intention of getting wrapped up in any of her crazy, so they seek refuge at Donovan's. He's preparing for a big case and tells them he doesn't have time to kick it with them, but they refuse to go back to the freezing cold condo to deal with Monica, and insinuate themselves into his condo, and also into his case. They propose that they can help him prepare for his trial by doing a mock trial. Kelly plays the defendant, Donovan is the prosecutor, and Tara, by using her acting chops, will play every other role. After reenacting the mock trial, Kelly and Tara are able to give Donovan insight from a perspective he hadn't thought of before. See less
