They soon marry, but Dylan let's slip about Zoe cheating on Max - which leads to Zoe fleeing onto Dylan's boathouse and them getting away from the situation. A fight ensues in the wedding reception between Louie and Max, and when a heater is knocked over a fire starts. With the reception uncontrollably ablaze, embers from the reception fly over onto boathouse which Dylan and Zoe are in. The boathouse catches fire and Zoe and Dylan must jump into the river to save themselves - but Dylan forgets his lucky talisman and runs back for it. Zoe is in the water right next to the boat, but the weight of her dress holds her under, drowning her. Seconds later and before Dylan can escape there's two massive explosions from the boathouse.
