In the story, William Weismann, age 66, of Lake of the Pines, California, was accused of soliciting a hit man to kill his neighbor Tom Wess Jr., with whom he had a property line dispute. Instead of talking to a real hit man, Weismann paid $5,000 to an undercover Sacramento County sheriff's deputy. Weismann pleaded 'no contest' to two counts of soliciting a murder. See less
