He lives in the Irkutsk region. For 20 years every winter Afanasyitch has been going to the taiga and spending there three to four months. He is a wolfhound. His aim is to capture wolves with traps. This is done not only to protect deer and roe deer, but also the livestock. Each year the situation is worsening. Hordes of wolves manage to eat up whole livestock herds in one winter.
