They must trek over treacherous mountains, find and eat wild food, build a shelter and start a fire as they navigate their way to the coastline and safety. Actor Neil Morrissey, Dancing on Ice judge Jason Gardiner, actress Michelle Collins, stage star Samantha Barks, former England footballer Stuart Pearce, actress Chelsee Healey and captain of Arsenal Ladies Alex Scott make up the expedition team. Their journey starts with an airlift as they are taken into the heart of the Bushveld. From the drop zone, guide Meg Hine leads them up a mountain where the weather changes from sunshine to driving rain within an hour. Bear introduces their first mission in which the two teams must search for two supply drops and pack what is essential for a 12-day expedition.
