Iranian government sent him to Germany for treatment in 1982. After his first surgery, the Iranian government refuses to continue paying the costs of his treatment and asks him to come back to Iran. However, his doctors in Germany told him that he needs several necessary follow-up surgeries. Therefore, he decides to stay in Germany as a refuge while using the German health insurance during and after his treatment. Now, after 33 years, he tells the story of those days while openly voicing his criticism of the Iranian government for not fulfilling their promises. See less
