Particularly hopeless is Max, a 35 year old German who only feels at home on 'his' couch at the flat. What will become of his residency, and will he have to leave New Zealand because of this? Act 2 Max tries to find a sense of security but his hole deeper destroying himself and friendships along the way and faces self-discovery and learns some life lessons hard-won. Act 3 As the flat comes to accept the fate of their abode, it all comes to a climax with the final flat party. New relationships are formed and the flatmates come to an understanding of the disparity between achieving others expectations and the narrower path of being true to one's self. See less
