So he got a camera, went home, locked the doors, and enticed his inner child to come out and play. The egocentric images he captured were brilliantly stupid, gloriously uneventful, and absolutely mind numbing. So he made a little showcase movie. Blathering is a prodigious discombobulated libretto that explodes, with a geriatric angst coupled with a born-again childish exuberance. This little film encapsulates the human experience in all its absurdity, banality and causality. It offers no insight, answers, or salvation. But, in the scope of its seven minutes it does provide a deliciously honest, albeit funky, view into our shared existence. Oh, yeah and some may find it funny.
