Ben starts college and falls for fellow student Lily, whilst Luke and Zoe get a place of their own. Nadine and Karl also have good news. Meanwhile Stella and Michael plan a quiet birthday party for Katie that gets out of control as word gets out and more people invite themselves. It is not a huge success, due to an overflowing chocolate fountain, mass food poisoning from Aunty Brenda's rice salad and an unwelcome gate-crasher in Beyoncé, causing Stella to be suspicious of her man.
