Now researchers claim that the theory survived in Sweden - despite scientific evidence to the contrary. And that there may be many more similar cases of false confessions. Rickard L. Sjöberg is a doctor and memory researcher at Umeå University. He claims that the idea of the possibility of awakening repressed memories is unscientific.
