Troy, N.Y: Students of the Rensselaer Polytechnical Institute stage their annual push ball rush. Santa Monica, Cal: Hundreds of Japanese families are left homeless by blaze which sweeps their beautiful village by the sea near here. San Diego, Cal: The Shakespeare Day Pageant at the San Diego Exposition is seen by 25,000 persons. Milwaukee: Lake boats built as pleasure craft are equipped with guns to demonstrate what can be done in the way of preparedness on the water. El Paso, Tex: General Obregon, the Minister of War for the Carranza Government, remains here in conference with U. S. military authorities on the question of recalling U.S. troops from the interior of Mexico. The United States is now making use of motorcycles for transporting machine guns below the border.
