Rob is a hopeless romantic, stuck in an endless cycle of rejection he unknowingly set himself up for. Rory is an aspiring musician with big dreams, but lacks the intelligence and artistic integrity to ever achieve them. Pitt is a functioning drug addict with a short temper and a mysterious past. Dave is a cynical comedian who is skeptical of everything except his own awesomeness. During a camping trip in the mountains, the guys are joined by a strange hitchhiker named Syder Brown, who reveals to them the secret of The McKacks, an evil entity that lurks deep within their own friendship.
