Instead of partying in Greece, they set off on a road trip through a series of amusement parks across the Netherlands and Germany, with one ultimate destination in mind: their favorite of them all — Europa-Park. The journey is filled with highs — both literally and emotionally. They ride the tallest rollercoasters, sing along to their favorite songs, and squeeze themselves into the back of Luca's pale yellow Polo each night. Even when they end up at the saddest amusement park imaginable, Luca somehow manages to turn it into an adventure. Online, they flood their socials with photos and videos to compete with the bikini pictures and nightlife clips posted by their classmates in Chersonissos. For a while, it feels like the best summer of their lives. But beneath the fun, tensions begin to grow. Faye starts to realize she's outgrowing the life she's always known and feels ready to move forward, yet she also feels deeply tied to Luca — the friend who has always been there for her and who turned this low-budget trip into something unforgettable. Luca, on the other hand, wants everything to stay the way it's always been. She's terrified that once Faye throws herself into student life, she'll lose her forever. Throughout the trip, they swallow their frustrations and insecurities until everything finally erupts at once. Maybe they haven't just outgrown high school — maybe they've outgrown each other, too. The question is whether they'll even make it to the end of the journey. After all... they're supposed to be best friends forever, right? See less
