He is taken to a hospital to treat his memory loss. Inspector Lars Englen believes he is a skilled con artist and murderer who is trying to deceive the investigators with his alleged memory loss. Despite being under guard, the man manages to overpower a nurse and escape. The dead man is Lasse Hellgard, a very wealthy and terminally ill businessman from Lübeck. The autopsy reveals that he was suffering not only from lymphoma but also from AIDS. His sister Verena cared for him. From the victim's bank statements, the investigators learn that Hellgard regularly transferred money to a young woman: Anne Seel. The dead man's sister reportedly doesn't know the woman or her name. Finn Kiesewetter and Lars find Anne Seel, a young florist who is eight months pregnant. The news of Hellgard's death devastates her deeply. He was her father, but the two had no contact. Hellgard was bitter, hated all women, and didn't want to be reminded of his daughter. Is there a connection between Verena Hellgard and Anne Seel? And who is the naked man?
