Sophie is taking all her mom's attention away, her mom who no longer has time to play with her. To get Sally to feel less scrunchy, Mr. Anthony shows her how to do the stompy stomp dance, which makes her feel less scrunchy, but doesn't take away her madness. So Mr. Anthony tells her a Napkin Man story about the time he helped a little girl named Suzie get over her anger about Barry, her new baby brother, and her mom running off to look after him every time he cried, it always seeming to happen when they were doing something fun together, such as making flippy floppy flapjacks.
