Adams were surprised as jury deliberations dragged on. Jim and Mary promised Dru that they would offer Pat their love and understanding no matter what happened in court. Suicidal ideations ran through Pat's mind as she re-lived testimony from the trial. Dru told Jim and Mary about John's personal obsession for Pat's case. John vowed to continue fighting for justice for Pat. Court reconvened as the jury reached a verdict.
