Macy is shocked that her mother's valiant act to protect her could cost Sally her own life. There is some indication for hope, though: Thorne is finally released from prison and immediately visits Macy in the hospital. Thorne reassures Macy that Sally is a fighter and will survive. In the guest house of the Forrester Mansion, a blue-eyed Jessica introduces her mother to her boyfriend. Maggie and Dylan are absolutely stunned that they have a common connection - besides their recently ignited feelings for each other. During dinner, Maggie can barely hold back tears while Jessica babbles about her love for Dylan. Connor worries that Stephanie could try to influence Ridge at Big Bear in favor of Taylor. Brooke rejects these concerns until she learns of the Forrester matriarch's current whereabouts. In the mountains, Ridge is quite happy to spend some time with his mother amidst this loathsome situation to make a choice for a wife.
