Even though he tries his best to shrug off the letter as a hoax, Ridge is having doubts. Brooke convinces him to confront the alleged author. When they arrive at the hospital, Ridge and Brooke are shocked to learn that Dr. Peters was killed last night in a robbery. To get clarity on their matter, Brooke asks her co-worker Dr. Benson for a signature sample from the late Dr. Peters. Stephanie stuns Taylor with news of the possibility that Bridget might not be Ridge's daughter. Taylor does not believe that Ridge and Brooke will break up as the letter has to be a forgery. Michael and Dylan unsuccessfully attempt to get Jasmine out of their apartment because they want to find out how much Sly really cares about Jessica.
