Grant also rubs it into Ridge's face that his relationship to Brooke has grown for many months. Ridge acts unimpressed until Brooke walks into the office to hand out an invitation for her and Grant's engagement party. Maggie manages to escape the dead end of the Santa Monica Pier and runs away from Mike. Maggie's luck does not reach far, though. Mike finds her at the old carrousel and swiftly locks her up in his apartment again. In Brentwood, Sheila is able to convince James to keep her as a patient. Stephanie learns from her maid Connie that Maggie's departure came out of the blue for her, too. They then realize that Maggie did not take any of her personal belongings with her. Highly alarmed, Stephanie calls James to inform him that she believes that Maggie was abducted. James immediately confronts Sheila who accurately denies any involvement. Written by Torsten B.
