In light of Grant's promotion, Thorne urges Ridge to end the madness. Ridge stresses that he will not make a decision for his love life out of concern for work. Serving as a mediator, Eric remarks that he believes in Ridge to do the right thing eventually. Taylor opines that Grant seems to ignore feelings - meaning that Brooke does not love him - and focus on wealth and power instead.
