American folk art specialists, local artists and museum goers comment her her art. Gwendolyn Magee passed away at 67, on April 27, 2011, just a few days after filming. She was working on a quilt dedicated to the 1961 Freedom Riders, a work in progress she advanced with much energy, despite her ailing condition. See less
