Martha grimaced at Cookie's suggestion that Martha tell Orin about Simon Jessup and his ability to contact Julie. Orin used self-pity to lure Liz's attention away from Jim, who tried hard to control his anger. Cookie happily suggested inviting Orin to the next séance, then begged Bill to promise to have Jessup back again. While Cookie walked around the room, waving her hands and feeling for cold spots, Bill agreed with Adam that they should get Kate Sloane to the Marceau house as soon as possible.
