After refinishing nearly every room in the house and doing a major addition, they still have a dismal basement that sticks out like a sore thumb. When it comes to resale, this would definitely be the area that would drag down the rest of the house. This renovation project calls for new electrical and drywall with plenty of recessed lights and speakers and new egress windows to let in more light. We also install a new gas fireplace insert , marble and glass subway tile , a rubber interlocking gym floor, shaker style custom cabinets , a big screen TV and a new piece of gym equipment (Power Plate) to shake up their exercise routine.
