Two thousand years have passed since the death of Christ, and St. Peter's Square is preparing for an epoch-making event: the Papal Exposition of the Shroud. However, the discovery of a gold medallion depicting the face of Christ, identical to the face of the Man of the Holy Shroud of Turin, threatens to shake the foundations of faith, science, and humanity itself. Giorgia Giani (Ludovica Martino), a young researcher, is aware of this and, driven by the need for truth, steals the medallion and turns to Tommaso Luraghi (Raoul Bova), a university professor and sindonologist who has been marginalized by the academic world. The medallion soon becomes the object of a ruthless hunt in which no one is safe. Secret societies, personal interests, and vendettas clash in a conflict that is no longer just between truth and lies, but corresponds to the eternal struggle between good and evil. See less
