It's a story about where we belong and how we manage to adapt to change under extreme circumstances. We travelled back to her home and realised that where she had come from was as important as what she had become. The village where she had grown up had been told that the boat had sunk and everyone had drowned. It was as if a ghost had returned. The film juxtaposes those memories with a journey across four countries. In doing so we ensure that history isn't relegated to the past but lives here and now. Written by Mark Aitken See less
