Mark and his mother worry about everybody. George asks Paulien, who just dropped out of dancing class to Kittie's horror, what she thinks about Melissa, thanks her for candor and asks discretion. When mother scolds Paulien for missing her gynecology appointment and Dede finally proposes, she declines and admits having faked the pregnancy test. Mark continues the search for Ben's past.
