Norman Bernard asks his brother Daniel Bernard, (John Schneider) to lead the family to pray for his son's recovery like they did for Luke's miracle. Benjamin, having caused the accident where Luke was nearly killed, is the easy culprit and blamed. Distraught, Benjamin finds solace in Annie, a nurse. She tells him there is more to praying than asking for things.
