He deliberately violates the conditions of his house arrest in order to drive Ante to the emergency room. Shortly afterward, Damjan arrives to arrest Veljko for breaking the rules, but finds the Simats there, who try to smooth things over. Klaudija steps in to protect Veljko, leading Damjan to conclude that her feelings for him run deeper than she is willing to admit. Ante, stubborn as ever, leaves the hospital against medical advice - despite the objections of nurse Vesna, Klaudija, and Veljko. Toma visits Vilma, who reveals that Zrinka is trying to seduce Crni. Toma becomes seriously concerned. Divna goes looking for Ante and finds him in the office, working. He is pleased that she came and interprets it as a sign that she cares about him. See less
