By day, Kabir sells coke with charm, records artsy street videos on his phone, and dreams of making it as a rapper. By night, he splits drinks and smoke with his slacker roommate Jay, talking big dreams in a tiny, busted apartment. But when Stefan, a cold-blooded plug with a gun in a grocery bag, shows up unannounced and drops 20 keys of cocaine with a three-day deadline, the boys are shoved into deep waters and they can't swim. One failed deal, one dumb party, and one lost bag later, the clock starts ticking loud. Kabir and Jay spiral from street-smart to survival-mode, as Stefan circles like a shark, smelling blood. Desperate, broke, and out of options, the boys do the unthinkable plot to poison their own supplier. A twisted, camp-drenched crime dramedy with dark humor, chaotic energy, and Gen Z absurdity, Are We Monsters? is a gritty love letter to broken dreams, brotherhood, and the dumb decisions that feel like genius in the moment.
