A conflict erupts between the resident and the attending physician. Furious, Sofia storms off, determined to vent her frustration. And then she also has a falling out with her roommate, Oliver Probst. The day couldn't have started worse. But that was just the beginning. When Olli wishes Sofia would disappear into thin air, he has no idea that his wish is about to become reality. While Olli and Ivo search for Sofia, Matteo also vanishes. Even their supervisor, Dr. Ben Ahlbeck, is increasingly concerned about her whereabouts, and worries about the two doctors are growing at the Johannes Thal Clinic. Could their disappearance be connected to the argument that morning? Meanwhile, divorce lawyer Liv Schreiber bursts into the JTK in a wedding dress, immediately catching the attention of Prof. Dr. Karin Patzelt and Tamar Hummels are drawn to Liv's case. The tough woman suspects she's having a heart attack. The doctors initially find nothing wrong, but her symptoms worsen when Liv's fiancé, Paul Hantke, arrives at the clinic.
