He injured himself while repairing a piece of farm equipment and was later found suffering from hypothermia in a field. Harald is skeptical and dismissive of the doctors, Dr. Leyla Sherbaz and Tamar Hummel. After a supposedly botched spinal disc surgery performed by Leyla, he has lost faith in medicine. And as if these accusations weren't enough, he also indirectly blames Leyla for the failure of his marriage. Tamar tries to connect with the patient by revisiting the spinal disc surgery. But just as Harald begins to trust her, she has to deliver some bad news... To the delight of the Berger family and Florian Osterwald, Dr. Rebecca Krieger is working at the JTK for three weeks as a locum. Her first patient is Sylvia König, a mother of four who has been suffering from bouts of vertigo for some time. No sooner does Sylvia tell the doctors about her symptoms than she has a premonition: she's pregnant for the fifth time. As the young mother is about to turn back with this revelation, Dr. Julia Berger and Rebecca manage to stop her just in time - if she's already pregnant, a final ultrasound certainly can't hurt. When Sofia receives a call from her former university to apply as a speaker for the new medical students, she's sure she'll get the job. All she needs for the application is a day off from her instructor, Dr. Ben Ahlbeck, and a letter of recommendation from Professor Dr. Karin Patzelt.
