Julia is certain that Olli just needs the right approach to act confidently and enters into a bet with Matteo. Olli actually does an exceptionally good job in the operating room when the young, heavily pregnant Romy Hegel is admitted with an acute abdomen, and Julia schedules an emergency cesarean section. A medical sensation also emerges: Romy has an intact ovarian pregnancy. A difficult procedure for both mother and child. And then Olli finds himself with the tricky task of telling Romy that the father wants nothing to do with the child. Dr. Mikko Rantala has requested support from the Sachsenklinik: Dr. Kai Hoffmann. When David Paulsen shows up at the JTK for a planned muscle transplant, the planned surgery has to be postponed repeatedly due to David's behavior. Mikko suspects there's more to the shy man, who wants to keep up with his adventurous girlfriend, and tries to support his patient with an ancient Finnish ritual - something Kai finds incomprehensible. Marc is behaving very strangely toward Karin. She is irritated that her esteemed colleague is suddenly avoiding her.
