VP Carrie Schwab-Pomerantz to The Big Biz Show. Sully and Russ talk with Wisdom about the current market and the decision by the Federal Reserve Bank to continue its current policies for the foreseeable future. Wisdom explains how the major global banks are hoping for some inflation and that their policies will likely encourage more investing in high-quality stocks. According to Wisdom, over the past 100 years the Dow Jones Average has had an annual growth of 5.3% even with the Great Depression, two World Wars and other major events. Riggs Eckelberry joins the show to talk about OriginOil's work in the oil and gas industry, and particularly how the company's Electro-Water Separation technology is able to clean the water used in fracking. Eckelberry points out that the U.S. has more oil in shale that can be recovered than has been produced in the past 150 years, by using fracking. One of the major concerns with fracking is the production of waste water that must be transported, cleaned and disposed of. Using the OriginOil technology, frack water can be cleaned to much higher levels than before. OriginOil's technology makes fracking more environmentally sensitive than ever. Carrie Schwab-Pomerantz, daughter of Charles Schwab and senior VP of Charles Schwab & Co., joins Sully and Russ to discuss her new book The Charles Schwab Guide to Finances After 50. Schwab-Pomerantz talks about the importance of starting investing at any point, even nearing what would be traditional retirement age.
