Intersecting with key moments in Colombian history, Vanishing Points is an essay film that reflects on the entanglements between official histories and personal stories, and the complexities of diasporic identity. Shot on Super 8mm, Hi8 and digital formats and punctuated by an expressionistic sound design, the film creates a polyphonic composition of mirrors, labyrinths, dreams and nightmares that questions the reliability of narration while destabilizing the idea of history and perspective.
