Together with her partner Yotam, she goes to the desert and sculpts a unique sculpture from local soil in the hope that the art will bring her healing. Part of the piece is broken, and again destabilizes Ruth's soul and the relationship with Yotam, who has trouble dealing with the depth of his partner's pain. Ruth is a ceramic artist who had a quiet birth. Together with Yotam, her partner, she goes to the desert to create unique tools from the earth in the hope of finding healing through art. During the journey in the desert and the creation in the desert clay, Yotam expresses his desire to have a child. This unsettles Ruth, who is unable to think about another pregnancy and birth after the trauma she experienced. Yotam tries to please Ruth and calm her spirit. It seems that she calms down and is even ready to meet Yotam and go the next morning to the recruitment of his apprentice, but the night they pass through the desert, Yotam leaves the ceramic vessels outside and Ruth comes across them in the dark and breaks them into pieces. The pain of the piece that went down the drain mixes with the difficult feelings of the loss of the pregnancy that Ruth experienced and the pain overwhelms her. She confronts Yotam who wants to travel and continue his life, and demands that he stay with her in the desert. He hits her and she runs away into the depths of the desert, to a crack in one of the cliffs inside which a cave is revealed. In the cave, where Yotam also arrives who cares for Ruth, the pain and anger float and it is precisely from the fracture that they find the common connection between them. See less
