A young Dai novice monk, Yan Hanjian, bids farewell to the friend he met through fireflies-and to his own childhood. Director Quanwen Liu graduated from the Directing Department of the Beijing Film Academy. His documentary A Year in a Burmese Monastery won Best Documentary Short at the 2019 New Era Youth Film Festival and the Tencent Guyu Award. His narrative short film To See the Train was selected as one of REALL's Top Ten Shorts of the Times. See less
