Since Dr. Ben Ahlbeck and Sofia Galura need to insert a catheter, Sofia asks for his emergency contact. But Burkhard lives for the stage. His marriage has broken up because of it, and now he's alone. He can only name his daughter, Paula Kreisel, whom he hasn't seen in years. He's all the more surprised when she shows up at the Johannes Thal Clinic. Despite all the family conflicts, it becomes clear that there's one thing that connects daughter and father: acting. But when Burkhard learns that Paula wants to follow in his footsteps, he seems unhappy about it, and his relationship with Paula is strained again... Donnie Gauss slipped in the shower and broke his arm. When intern Oliver Probst takes the man in, he's amazed when he turns out to be Dr. Julia Berger's new boyfriend. For Olli, the treatment becomes even more unpleasant when he suspects that Donnie isn't just playing two games - he's playing multiple games. He confides in Dr. Marc Lindner, but neither of them suspects that Julia has a completely different problem. While Prof. Dr. Karin Patzelt tries to figure out who her persistent admirer is, who keeps showering her with gifts, the interns in urology have to assert themselves. Dr. Rolf Kaminski from the Sachsen Clinic was brought to the JTK by Ben Ahlbeck to take over the urology consultation hours and give the interns an insight into the field. Olli, Sofia, and Tamar are initially not impressed by Kaminski's manner and his specialty.
