But the detective is not going to give up on the idea of breaking into the safe. He needs money to buy out the neighbor's girl Lera from the bandits. Meanwhile, "IVA" receives a new message from the mysterious blackmailer "Augur". Apparently, "Augur" knows about the most terrible deeds of this organization. The dossier on Irinarkhov, which deputy Kolomiets handed over to the Prosecutor General, turns out to be a fake. Kolomiets understands that his associates Neverov and Krymov now support Irinarkhov. As always, at a crucial moment, Dubrovsky consults with the writer Fyodor Kitaev. "Mercury" security discovers Dubrovsky's listening device. Dubrovsky and Kulek begin a new attempt to get to the safe, unaware that the security is preparing a trap for them. Dubrovsky is also preparing a surprise for them: he is going to infiltrate the publishing house disguised as Cherkes, one of Irinarkhov's militants. See less
