The FSB suspects him of murdering Pasha Khromov, an old friend of Dubrovsky. The leader of the counterfeiters, Graver, believes that Dubrovsky and Khromov worked for the mysterious blackmailer "Augur". Something strange is still happening in the personal life of deputy Neverov: for some inexplicable reason, his wife tries to commit suicide. And there are more and more supporters of Irinarkhov in the government and the Duma. Graver's bandits kidnap Dubrovsky's girlfriend, Lera, and demand that Dubrovsky lead them to "Augur". Dubrovsky does not know how to find "Augur" and is going to ransom the girl for money. He still does not trust Masha, who hired him to steal a disk with the text of the famous bestseller from the "Mercury" safe. Now Dubrovsky hopes to find money to ransom Lera in this safe. However, the attempt to get to the safe turns out to be unsuccessful. See less
