Along the way, they meet a damsel in distress chained to a dungeon wall. Knight want to free her, but Wizard has not come to Daggermore on a rescue mission. As they decide what to do they disturb a shrieker that screams like a siren until Wizard bashes it to death with his staff. But every adventurer knows that a shrieker alerts other denizens to intruders into the dungeon, and this shrieker is no different.
