She was in a serious car accident, resulting in a torn heart muscle. Urgent surgery is required. At that moment, her partner, Sascha Pasing, suddenly appears in the trauma unit. Elly is startled when she recognizes Sascha. After all, he is part of her current personal problem. In a complicated operation and with the assistance of Dr. Leyla Sherbaz, Elly manages to stitch the torn heart muscle. Much to Sofia's dismay, however, after the operation, she decides to hand the case over to Leyla. Sofia and Nadine wonder what happened between Elly and Sascha. Dr. Mikko Rantala is full of anticipation, as he has a plan for youth development and is expecting a student intern. Maja Kieninger is in 11th grade and, at her parents' request, is to complete a two-week internship at the Johannes Thal Hospital.
